Agriculture and forestry

We counsel and assist communities, cantons and the federal government in resolving agriculture and forestry problems such as planning wildlife corridors crossing arable land or designing nature reserves in production forests. H&W establishes forestry planning projects, assisting forestry commissions in carrying out actual nature conservation or improvement projects as well as administrative duties. We help farmers increase their income by earning ecological compensation payments, at the same time ensuring that endangered species or habitats will be conserved.
